Manchester United are making serious strides in their impasse with Arsenal over the signing of Robin Van Persie. The Telegraph reported last night that Manchester Untied are prepared to increase their current bid of £12m for the striker so that a deal can be concluded beofre the weekend.
For everyone’s sake we just hope that this deal can finally be concluded now to put an end to one of the most grizly sagas of the summer. The two clubs are apparently talking again and will both want to put the deal to bed imminently
‘Arsenal have made it clear that they want at least £20 million for their captain and star player but there is now a hope that, with add-ons, agreement could be reached on a compromise deal.’
So there finally appears to be a positive conclusion in sight for Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson. We will keep you updated as always.
