Reports in Brazil suggest that Manchester United are deadly serious about their interest in Lucas Moura and have accordingly lodged a second bid of 38m Euros for the Sao Paulo playmaker.
ESPN says that a first bid of 32m Euro was rejected last week and the new offer has been given a similar response.
If Manchester United are indeed continuing to bid for the starlet they must have been given some encouragement by the Brazilian club. Manchester United don’t need a raft of players to improve their squad. They just need that bit of extra fairy dust that has been missing since Ronaldo and Tevez jumped ship. Moura could just be the man to bring champagne football back to Old Trafford.
We think that he would be an absolute gem of a player at Manchester United and will continue to monitor developments.
