After snaring Eden hazard from under the noses of the Manchester clubs, Chelsea are now on the verge of completing the signing of Brazilian sensation Oscar from Sport Club Internacional. After hitting the jackpot with Ramires a couple of years ago, Chelsea have decided that buying Brazilian is a safe bet and, despite his tender age of 20, Oscar is seen as a low risk investment who can go on to have a top career in England.
The Guardian says that Tottenham have lost interest in the player, leaving the door wide open for a move to Stamford Bridge and the club’s official website has confirmed that terms have been agreed with Oscar’s club.
Like Hazard, Oscar is a midfield playmaker who will suplement the creativity of this new Chelsea team, which appears to be heading stylistically, in the direction of Barcelona. The team has now evolved to the point where, next season, the remnants of Jose Mourinho’s hugely physical Chelsea will be all but replaced by the small and technically superb midfielders that the club continues to recruit.
