Liverpool: Serie A forward on the radar

It’s open season on transfer speculation and the Daily Express reckons that Serbian forward Milos Krasic is interesting Liverpool as his current club, Juventus, attempt to save up for a summer splurge on Robin Van Persie. They go as for as to suggest that a fee has been tentatively agreed between the clubs.

I remember being particularly impressed with this lad during his Champions League days with CSKA Moscow. He’s not just quick but he has plenty of guile. He loves to dribble with the ball, has a good delivery on him and plays with his head up. He has a fairly decent return for a wide player – 8 goals in 40 games for Juve – and generally scores at a rate of a goal every 5 games. He only played for the Italian side 7 times in the 2011/12 campaign however.

At 27 he is just about the finished article and, if any of this tabloid tittle tattle is to be trusted, then the winger is available for a highly affordable £6m. So do you think he would fit in at Anfield and improve Liverpool? Would he offer the sort of quality service that has been lacking from the wide areas of late?
