Chelsea

Chelsea’s best 11 with all the new signings

Great window

Pending any major last minute deals Chelsea have had a relatively leisurely stroll through the last day of the transfer window.

Even if they did sign another player now he would be unlikely to immediately unsettle what is beginning to resemble a fearsome first eleven.

With Jose at the helm for a year now Chelsea have a much more solid and powerful look about them. Gone are the luxury talents of David Luiz and Juan Mata. In has come the power and athleticism of Matic, Diego Costa and Filip Luis.

They are a hard working unit with pace and precision. Add the mercurial talents of Cesc Fabregas pulling the strings from the midfield and it’s easy to make a case for Chelsea winning the title in Jose’s second season back.

It’s difficult to pick a Chelsea eleven purely because they now have such a good squad. We also believe that Loic Remy could well force his way into the strongest eleven, playing in a wide role it he hits top form. But, for now, we believe that this is the best Chelsea XI as we head in September.

Chelsea fans: let’s have your thoughts.

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta – Matic, Ramires – Hazard, Fabregas, Schurrle – Costa

I agree with the best eleven.
have to mention that for the first time I see a good player in Willian, now I will put him in the same category of Mata. I hope Oscar will show some kind of skill and not a plain game a lo Torres.

Totally agree with this starting 11-but it does loose the likes of Oscar and Filipe Luiz who are beautiful players.
