Arsenal are looking to move for winger Bojan Krkic. The Gunners want to give the 23 year old the chance to get his career back on track in The Premier League according to recent reports at TalkSport.

Arsenal are lining up a move for Barcelona outcast Bojan Krkic, according to reports in Spain.

Krkic marked himself as a promising youngster in 2006 when he had an excellent season playing for the youth side Barcelona B. His impressive scoring record of 10 goals in just 22 games led to a start in the senior side aged just 17.

However, in the intervening years he failed to establish himself as a regular in Barcelona’s starting eleven and was sold to Roma in 2011. He made 33 appearances for the Italian club before being loaned out to AC Milan for the 2012/2013 season.

The following year he returned to Barcelona due to an obligatory buy-back clause and has since spent time on loan at Ajax.

Despite the exciting start to the 23 year olds career, he has since failed to impress failing to score more than 10 goals in any season in the last seven years. His record currently stands at 66 goals in 280 appearances in all competitions.

TalkSport report that Wenger is still a fan of the player and given the right nurturing he could still reach his potential.

Arsenal could certainly do with a pacey winger. Both Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott suffered long-term injuries last season and missed a significant portion of the season. This left the North London side without pace on their flanks, making it harder for the team to stretch opposition defenders.

The club have also been looking to bring fellow Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez to the club. Although Liverpool were hoping to secure the player as part of any deal seeing Luis Suarez move to Spain. But the winger has since said he would prefer to move to The Emirates, giving Arsenal fans hope that the impressive Chilean could be in their squad for next year.
