Spurs have two major injury worries ahead of Crystal Palace

There is very little that can dampen Spurs’ spirits after their historic 3-1 win over Real Madrid.

Having secured qualification from Group H of the Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino’s attentions now turn to facing Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Roy Hodgson’s men are bottom of the Premier League with just a win and a draw from their opening ten games and they will be without striker Christian Benteke.

However, Tottenham have injury concerns of their own, with the Daily Mail reporting that Hugo Lloris tore an abductor muscle against Real Madrid, hence why Didier Deschamps has left him out of the France squad.

The goalkeeper is also a doubt for the North London Derby in two weeks’ time.

Lloris will be joined on the sidelines by Toby Alderweireld, who limped off early on against the European champions.

Eric Dier slotted into the back three seamlessly on that occasion, yet with Victor Wanyama still absent and Mousa Dembele fragile, moving the England international out of the midfield is going to be a problem long-term.
