Tottenham are close to making Serge Aurier their third summer signing after the right-back was cleared to enter the UK by the Home Office.
The PSG defender was convicted of assaulting a police officer last year and had trouble securing a visa to work in Britain.
However, Sky Sports report he is now on the verge of a £23million move.
Aurier all but confirmed he had received clearance with a tweet, having passed a medical and agreed personal terms:

It’s also reported that the 24-year-old had attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, but chose Spurs because he was impressed by manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy.
Kieran Trippier has been the Lilywhites’ first choice right-back since Kyle Walker’s departure for Manchester City earlier this summer, but the England international struggled to make much impact in his first two games of the season against Chelsea and Burnley at Wembley.
Pochettino has youngster Kyle Walker-Peters as a further back-up option.
