Chelsea’s summer spending shows no sign of slowing down.
The Blues have already parted with over £118million thanks to the signings of Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Antonio Rudiger.
Their next target comes from within the Premier League, and it’s unlikely to go down well with Ronald Koeman.
The Sun report that Everton’s Tom Davies is being considered following an impressive breakthrough season at Goodison Park.
The 19-year-old rose to prominence with a goal in the Toffees’ 4-0 win over Manchester City in January.
It seems unlikely Everton would sanction the deal, especially as the midfielder won’t force a move because of his ties to the club.
Koeman has already lost main man Romelu Lukaku this summer and he has confirmed that Ross Barkley will be following the Belgian out the door – making it imperative he retains his current attacking midfield options.
Discussing the England international, Koeman told a press conference that he will not be signing a new contract and that he is “looking for a new challenge”.
