Josh King hesitant over Tottenham switch

Tottenham may not have the budget to compete with some of their Premier League rivals, but they should still hold plenty of attraction in the transfer market.

Mauricio Pochettino’s project is the major selling point on offer in north London, as opposed to wages.

Yet, the Lilywhites risk being snubbed by Bournemouth’s Josh King, who they could lose to Everton.

According to the Mirror, the striker is concerned that he would only have a bit-part role to play at Spurs. Harry Kane often operates as a lone striker, and as Vincent Janssen will testify, it’s virtually impossible to displace the newly-named England captain and two-time Golden Boot winner.

King is reportedly only willing to leave the South Coast if he is guaranteed a regular first team place. There is more chance of that happening at Everton, particularly if they lose Romelu Lukaku.

The Norweigan will not force a move away from Eddie Howe’s side.

It’s thought Ronald Koeman is also looking at Burnley’s Andre Gray.
