Mauricio Pochettino will spend the summer ensuring Spurs overcome their mental block over playing at Wembley, reports the Mirror.
The Lilywhites’ problems at the national stadium have become notorious, and following a 4-2 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final, they’ve now won just one in nine games at the ground.
That does not make it the ideal place to play all of their Premier League fixtures next season, but the decision has already been made.
As such, Pochettino will ask that his players train at Wembley ‘as soon and as often as possible’ so they can beat the psychological hurdles that seem to plague them whenever they venture away from White Hart Lane.
The club played their Champions League and Europa League games at Wembley, winning just once against CSKA Moscow. Their performances against Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen, and Gent left a lot to be desired, and Pochettino must be concerned.
Spurs are unbeaten in their final season at the Lane with just one more home game to play against Manchester United on May 14.
