Jack Wilshere’s career is at a crossroads after his latest injury setback.

The midfielder broke his leg in a seemingly innocuous clash with Harry Kane in Bournemouth’s 4-0 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday.

That’s likely to be his last appearance for the Cherries with his loan agreement coming to an end this summer, but it remains to be seen how it will affect his Arsenal future.

The England international has just over a year left on his contract, so a decision needs to be made on where he’ll be playing next season.

Wilshere’s injury record is likely to put off a lot of clubs despite his potential.

Arsene Wenger has reassured him, though, that his broken leg will have no bearing on the Gunners’ decision.

Of course, Wenger may not be in charge to have any say, but at present, it looks as if the Frenchman will himself be staying on for another two years.
