Manchester City will not allow Joe Hart to extend his loan spell at Torino should the Serie A club request it.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who are reporting that Pep Guardiola now wants the goalkeeper off the club’s books.
City will look for a cash buyer and want around the £15million mark for the England man.
That figure sounds like an incredible bargain for an established international, but Guardiola has made it plain that he doesn’t rate him.
Willy Caballero is also expected to leave the Etihad when his contract expires this summer, so City will be left with Claudio Bravo, who has been dropped several times this season.
As much as Torino would like to keep hold of Hart, they can’t afford to buy him. That makes it likely he’ll be back in the Premier League this season, particularly as he is thought to prefer playing in England because of his international responsibilities.
