Liverpool are already speaking to other clubs about the sale of Alberto Moreno, according to Goal.
It’s suggested that the out-of-favour left-back is most likely to head to Serie A, with Inter and AC Milan both having enquired about his availability this summer.
The Spaniard has made just 15 appearances this season.
It’s a damning indictment of how his campaign’s gone that Jurgen Klopp has had to move James Milner into the defence as a replacement, so it appears almost inevitable that Moreno’s time at the club is up.
It all started with a horrorshow on the opening day against Arsenal, though the Reds won that game 4-3.
Klopp evidently hasn’t seen enough from the defender to suggest that he can improve, and the Anfield boss is expected to bring in another left-back when the transfer window opens.
Unfortunately, the player himself would prefer to move to La Liga because he thinks it would be easier for his family to settle in. If only Serie A clubs come calling, he may not have the luxury of that option.
