After his 25 goals this season, losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic doesn’t bear thinking about for Manchester United.
The 35-year-old is only under contract until the summer, but there is always the option of extending his stay by another year.
The Swede will have no shortage of offers on the table, yet he has dropped a big hint that he is set to stay in the Premier League.
“I enjoy. I’m a person when I go into something I put my head 200 per cent, and I do what I’m good at,” he said, via the Mirror.
“I go in, I go for the kill and I go out. And when I go out there is no complaints, that’s what I do. I never leave a job unfinished.”
It definitely sounds like he wants to have one more crack at winning the title.
United were among the favourites when he joined, but they now face a battle to reach the top four.
The feeling around Old Trafford is that Jose Mourinho’s revolution is only just beginning, but the pressure will be on next season to start delivering some tangible success.
Ibra starred as United lifted the EFL Cup back in February, but what he’ll really be looking for is his 14th title.
