Arsenal finally appear to have given up hope of keeping Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean is expected to leave the Emirates as he enters the final year of his contract.
The Mirror report that after a season of trying to convince him to remain, the Gunners are now hoping to get the best possible deal for the unhappy star.
Any clubs hoping to lure him away will have to pay £50million at the very least.
Sanchez has cut a frustrated figure this term, courting controversy during the 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich after being seen laughing on the bench.
That could well play into the hands of his suitors.
£50million is not necessarily all that much considering Antoine Griezmann is likely to go for £85million this summer, and there will undoubtedly be at least one club who are happy to pay his fee.
The same source are repeating the rumours that Chelsea have made the 28-year-old one of their main targets.
The best Arsenal fans can really hope for now is that the club at least invest the money back into the squad, but having spent £35million on Granit Xhaka, they must have some doubts about how well it will be used.
