Portuguese publication The Record report that Benfica president Luís Filipe Vieira was in attendance at City’s recent Champions League defeat to Monaco, and the two club’s now have a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ in place over Ederson.
City tried to sign the 23-year-old last summer, but such is their desperation that they are now willing to offer closer to £30million to get the deal done.
