While most of Europe’s top clubs clamour over Kylian Mbappe, Chelsea appear to have bucked that trend by pursuing one of his Monaco team-mates.
Mbappe is not the only highly-rated youngster in the ranks of the Ligue 1 leaders.
Well-respected journalist Guillem Balague has it that the Blues have agreed terms with defensive midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko, but a fee is yet to be negotiated.

The 22-year-old is in France’s international squad, having been called up to replace the injured Paul Pogba.
It already looks like he has more goals to his game than N’Golo Kante, as he has scored three this season and assisted another.
Chelsea fans must be salivating at the thought of the two pairing up next season, but it will cast further doubt on the future of the popular Cesc Fabregas, who has been restricted to just seven league starts this term.
Nemanja Matic is also likely to leave at the end of the season, opening the door for Bakayoko.
