Arsene Wenger has offer of another top job

Arsene Wenger now has two contract offers on the table, though it remains to be seen if he’ll sign either of them.

Arsenal are still waiting to hear whether he’ll be putting pen to paper on a two-year extension with them, and it could all depend on whether the Gunners make it into the top four after their woeful run of four defeats in five league games.

However, the Sun claim that Paris Saint-Germain have also offered him the same tenure in the French capital.

Unai Emery is widely expected to leave the Ligue 1 champions, with Monaco set for the title and his side crashing out of the Champions League after throwing away a 4-0 lead over Barcelona.

Wenger wants to continue managing, but it may be difficult for him to do so at the Emirates given the escalating fan protests against his reign.

It’s been 13 years since he last lifted the title, though he has kept the club consistently in the Champions League spots. In his 21-year rule, they are the only club who have finished in the top four every year.

There is no real reason for the 67-year-old to return to France, having separated from his wife in 2015, but it could be the perfect homecoming to end his career nonetheless.
