Premier League fans are already getting excited at the prospect of some of La Liga’s top stars potentially moving to England.
Antoine Griezmann is firmly on Manchester United’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window, though it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will ditch Atletico Madrid.
However, the thought of any of Barcelona’s star men leaving the Nou Camp for the Premier League has always seemed like nothing more than a pipe dream.
Lionel Messi has often been linked with a move to Manchester City, but there’s still no indication of that happening despite the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation.
Nonetheless, Neymar is one player who could one day make the switch, as reported in the Sun.
The 25-year-old is widely rated as the world’s third-best player behind Messi and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
That would put him in a fantastic position if he were to leave Barca, and there are four teams he admits he likes watching this side of the water.
“I like the playing style and the teams,” he told the newspaper.
“And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.
“I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool — these are the teams that are always there fighting.
“And then you have high-level coaches like Mourinho and Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work.”
The Brazilian also admitted he loves how unpredictable English football can be.
“In the Premier League you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise,” he added.
“Leicester are very good. They had a great season last year, they were Prem champions and therefore we need to respect them if we draw them in the Champions League.”
