Tottenham set for third attempt to sign winger

It seems Mauricio Pochettino isn’t one to give up when it comes to his transfer targets.

After being rebuffed in the summer and again in January, the Mirror report that Tottenham will make a third bid for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha at the end fo the season.

Sam Allardyce is desperate to keep the former Manchester United man and if he has to sell one of his star players, he’d rather get rid of Andros Townsend.

Townsend scored a great goal at the weekend, but that was his first in six months, and that’s the kind of form that has left the Eagles in a relegation battle.

All the same, it’s Zaha who’s attracting the interest.

The 24-year-old has five goals and six assists for Palace this term.

Spurs may have concerns about his ability to replicate that form in a top team, as he was never convincing at United. It’s clear that Pochettino is a massive fan of the Ivory Coast international nonetheless, even if he’s likely to cost around the £30million mark.

Watched Zaha play several times & beats himself when running fast & my opinion not worth more than $10 – $12 Million Tops…..No where near $30 Million…Far better Wingers available for that money. We need cover Left Back -Top Striker like Man City Aureo + Winger & consider Rabiot,Myer,Isco,Marez $12-$15 providing he learns to defend!
    OUT: Sisoko,Davis,Wimmer,Lemela.
