Chelsea scouts will head to the San Siro this weekend when Inter Milan welcome Roma, report TuttoMercatoWeb.
Antonio Conte will be hoping for positive feedback on Nerazzurri winger Ivan Perisic, who is being targeted by the Premier League champions-elect.
The Croatia international is likely to cost £29.5million this summer, but Inter are willing to sell if Chelsea will meet that asking price.
So far, the 28-year-old hasn’t actually expressed any real desire to quit Serie A, but it seemed inevitable there would be interest at the end of what has been another fine season for him.
Perisic has nine goals and four assists to his name so far this term.
Yet, he also has three and a half years left to run on his contract.
Inter have made up considerable ground in Serie A after a poor start to the campaign and now sit fourth thanks to Stefano Pioli’s leadership.
While they do look improved under their new manager, though, the appeal of working under Conte should help Chelsea land their summer targets.
