Very little went right for Arsenal as they suffered another defeat against Chelsea on Saturday.

The Gunners are now 12 points behind the Blues and it has to be said that there are few indications they can cut that lead significantly in the final months of the season.

Fans who travelled to Stamford Bridge will have been hugely disappointed with a number of their players’ performances, though few will be surprised that Mesut Ozil continued his big-game curse against the champions-elect.

For all his talent, there just seems to be something about the Germany international that stops him performing when it really matters, especially away from home.

Nonetheless, at least the playmaker knew it was important to face the supporters after the final whistle – and looked furious that some of his team-mates failed to go over and acknowledge them.

Take a look at the footage below, shot by Goal.com’s Chris Wheatley:

Ozil can be seen kicking off to Theo Walcott about Alexis Sanchez and Nacho Monreal walking away.

This might be a first offence for Monreal, but for Sanchez, it’s just the latest in a string of signs that he’s growing more and more frustrated in north London.

The Chilean threw his gloves to the floor at the end of the recent 3-3 draw with Bournemouth and then reacted furiously when he was taken off against Swansea.

By the summer, Sanchez will have just a year left on his contract, and if he continues to make overtures that he’s unhappy, the club are going to have to give some serious thought to his future.
