Manchester United should have no problems shifting Morgan Schneiderlin in January.
The midfielder is still highly rated in the Premier League despite his difficult spell at Old Trafford, as most teams haven’t forgotten his hugely impressive stint at Southampton.
The Frenchman has been linked with Tottenham, and most heavily with Everton, since it was decided that his time at United was up.
However, what nobody will have expected is that it’s in fact West Brom who have opened the bidding.
According to the Mirror, the Baggies want to make Schneiderlin their club record signing, offering United a transfer fee in the region of £18million.
Tony Pulis was understandably reluctant to discuss any such bid, and all he would confirm was that West Brom have been keeping an eye on several targets.
Everton need to act quickly if they’re to stop him heading for the Midlands, as he should be on the wishlist of several clubs – so West Brom will do very well if they convince him to head to the Hawthorns.
