The end of Mario Balotelli’s spell at Liverpool was thought to signal the end of his time in English football.
The Italian has had more than enough chances throughout his career, but it appears some clubs may still be willing to take a chance on him.
His agent Mino Raiola has told talkSport that the striker has already spoken to Premier League clubs about the possibility of a return.
“We’ve already had talks with English clubs, but it’s really too early to say,” he said.
“We want to keep it day-by-day with Mario.”
Balotelli scored just one goal during his stint at Anfield, but while Raiola hasn’t specified which clubs he is talking to, it seems there are always going to be managers who are willing to take a punt on his talent.
The misfit has fired Nice to the top of Ligue 1, though of course, doubts remain about the quality of the French game.
However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has proven that it isn’t necessarily true that strikers who score goals in France can’t prove themselves across the water.
Fans have been waiting for Balotelli to mature for years, though, and he’d definitely divide opinion wherever he does move next.
