Dimitar Berbatov could soon be spotted at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground, reports the Sun.
The Bulgarian, who scored 56 goals in four seasons after moving to Old Trafford from Tottenham, has been given permission to train with Jose Mourinho’s side as he looks to build up his fitness.
The striker is currently without a club and is aiming to attract potential suitors by getting back to the top of his game.
Berba is only expected to stay with the Red Devils for a week, but he could still be a valuable asset in training and will be someone for United’s current crop of players to aspire to, having won the Premier League twice.
It’s fair to say he’s not the only one who needs to work on his fitness either, as United have struggled to see games out this season, hence an unprecedented number of draws.
The 35-year-old was most recently with Greek side PAOK.
