At the heart of Leicester’s woeful title defence has been a spectacular dip in form for Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian is wilting under the curse of winning PFA Player of the Year, but like the rest of the club, it seems he’s still revelling in last season’s success.
The playmaker may not have much to smile about with his side hovering above the relegation zone, but he couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at last year’s rivals Tottenham when asked by FourFourTwo.
Take a look at the video here:

It’s fair to say Tottenham are also looking a long way off the progress they made last season, although their situation is a lot less serious than Leicester’s.
As for Mahrez, however, he has even been threatened that he could be dropped by Claudio Ranieri if his form does not improve, as he’s so far saved his best football for Europe.
And with Mahrez struggling, it’s been almost impossible to give Jamie Vardy any service, hence why last season’s Golden Boot contender has scored just two league goals this season.
