Rumour has it that Jose Mourinho has always been a little frustrated by his failure to make it as a top footballer.
It’s supposedly one of the driving forces behind his success as a manager, inspired by his father who played as a goalkeeper in Portugal.
However, it looks as if the Special One isn’t completely useless with the ball at his feet after all.
Take a look at this clip of him, put forward by the Mirror, taking part in the crossbar challenge.
Not bad at all. It may have taken him a few tries, but he rattled the bar in the end before the ball ended up in the goal.
On a more serious note, he will also have been painstakingly preparing for Manchester United’s trip to Fenerbahce, regardless of the Red Devils’ 4-1 win against the Turkish side a fortnight ago.
Away games against Fenerbahce are never all that pleasant – United fans are being given a police escort to and from the ground, while Mourinho’s men won’t be expecting anything like the walk in the park they enjoyed at Old Trafford in their last Europa League outing.
If they do slip up, though, at least they’ve got a goalscorer in the dugout.
