Sead Kolasinac is causing quite the stir among Premier League clubs, with Liverpool, Chelsea, and West Ham all vying to sign the Schalke full-back.
The Sun report that all three clubs have sent scouts to watch the Bosnian international, even if his current side aren’t exactly famed for their defending right now.
The 23-year-old could be the perfect replacement for Alberto Moreno at Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp has made it clear he doesn’t trust the Spaniard after watching too many dodgy mishaps from him.
The Reds’ pursuit of Kolasinac presumably means Klopp has given up on Jonas Hector, but he’s still clearly making a new left-back his priority.
What makes Kolasinac even more appealing is that he wouldn’t cost a penny as he’s out of contract in the summer, so he’s free to talk to foreign clubs from January 1.
It certainly explains why the three clubs are keeping such a close eye on him, with all of them anxious they could be beaten to his signature.
Were he to move to Anfield, he could team up with former Schalke team-mate Joel Matip, so it looks like Liverpool have to be favourites.
Schalke are still hoping to convince Kolasinac to sign a new deal.
