Arsenal are going to have a huge fight on their hands to keep hold of Hector Bellerin.
The Spaniard is already being spoken about as a January transfer target for both Manchester City and most prominently, Barcelona, his old club.
The 21-year-old has been absolutely pivotal for the Gunners at right-back, but this season more than ever, it’s going to be hard to keep hold of the club’s biggest stars because of the uncertainty surrounding Arsene Wenger’s future.
Despite his youth, the right-back is easily one of Arsenal’s most coveted players. So far, it’s been unclear what his feelings are, though it’d be hard for him to turn down a move back to Barca if Luis Enrique came calling.
According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Bellerin’s camp are now simply waiting to hear from Barca – the biggest indication yet that Bellerin wants out of the Emirates if he’s given the chance.
The only obstacle is his price tag, as Arsenal could hold out for as much as £40million – and that could put Barca off altogether.
