Despite being exiled from Manchester City for the remainder of this season, it looks like Joe Hart might still have a future in the Premier League after all.
The goalkeeper will spend the rest of the current campaign with Torino, where he has endured a mixed start to life in Serie A.
The England international failed to keep a clean sheet in their 2-1 win over Fiorentina, but as his new side claimed the three points, Hart also received another timely boost from the stands.
According to the Mirror, that game was watched by none other than Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. Of course, that has led to speculation that the Blues could bid for Hart at the end of the season, as there’s clearly no place for him at City.
If you ask Pep Guardiola, Hart might be no Claudio Bravo, but he’s certainly a step up from Thibaut Courtois, whose attitude has once again been brought into question following his suggestions he’d like to move back to Atletico Madrid.
Conte – if he’s even in charge at the end of the season after an underwhelming start to his reign – would cause a big stir if he brought in one of City’s former stars, but unless Courtois improves soon, he could be left with no choice.
