Arsenal have no interest in losing Hector Bellerin.
The right-back has been attracting interest from Barcelona, who see him as a long-term replacement for Dani Alves, while Manchester City are also keen with their leaky defence proving a major problem for Pep Guardiola.
Bellerin is one of Arsenal’s brightest young prospects, so it will come as no surprise that the Emirates outfit are doing everything they can to keep him.
While the Spaniard already has three years left on his current contract, the Sun believe that Gunners chiefs are now speaking to his agents about a possible five-year-deal and a huge pay rise in the process.
The 21-year-old could bring in as much as £40million if Arsenal did decide to cash in, but that would be a hugely unpopular move with the fans, as they are imploring the club to push on after last season’s second-placed finish.
Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are also set to be offered new deals, though Santi Cazorla is still waiting to hear whether he will be kept beyond this summer when his contract expires.
