Tottenham are expected to hand out three more new contracts in the coming days, reports the Mirror.
Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Christian Eriksen are the most high-profile players to put pen to paper in recent weeks, but chairman Daniel Levy isn’t stopping there.
Defensive trio Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose, and Kyle Walker should all have new deals announced imminently, which will be a huge boost for Spurs as all three have been linked with moves to top European clubs in the past.
Talk continues of a Chelsea bid for Rose in particular, as Antonio Conte continues his search for a new left-back. Spurs will be well aware of that ahead of the January transfer window, so it’s no surprise they are keen to tie him down as soon as possible.
Walker, meanwhile, has enjoyed a fantastic start to the new Premier League season. As for Jan Vertonghen, he has also proven his importance to the club, showing his versatility by starting the 1-0 win over Sunderland at left-back.
Fringe players Harry Winks and Tom Carroll have also signed new deals, but in the case of the latter, that may simply be so he can be sold on at a higher price next summer.
