Tottenham will have to pay a crazy £28million if they want to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Yannick Bolasie.
Spurs, West Ham, and Everton are the main Premier League clubs interested in the Congolese player, but according to the Daily Mail, the Eagles want crazy money for him.
Now that Palace have signed Andros Townsend from Newcastle in Bolasie’s position, it does seem possible that the 27-year-old will leave.
However, at that price, Spurs would be mad to bring him in.
Bolasie has scored just 12 goals in his four years at Selhurst Park, which hardly makes him the sort of player Mauricio Pochettino is looking for.
He may have incredible pace, but given that Spurs have been linked with World Cup winner Mario Gotze, their fans would now surely be very disappointed if the club don’t bring in a top-drawer player.
Newcastle’s Georginio Wijnaldum is another option, but again Spurs are most likely going to be priced out of a deal, with the Magpies asking for in excess of £20million.
