Chelsea winger wants Barca switch

Chelsea midfielder Pedro wants to move back to Barcelona, according to Goal.com.

The Spaniard only arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2015, but after less than a year, he is keen to cut his losses and return to his former club.

Blues fans may be a little confused by his demands and may question whether Barca would want him back at the Nou Camp after such a disappointing season.

Yet, the winger insists he has already spoken to Barcelona’s club president Josep Maria Bartomeu about a possible return.

Pedro may struggle to break back into the La Liga champions’ first team, but he has reiterated his wish to retire a Barcelona player.

He is not the first Chelsea player to have expressed a wish to leave this summer, and it seems that while Manchester United, Manchester City, and even Arsenal of all teams have been straight out of the traps, the Blues are getting left behind.

It can’t help that Antonio Conte is still with Italy, which must make business difficult, but Chelsea need to wake up and sign some new players if they are to have a chance next season – or at least be a little more proactive in keeping the few talents they already have.
