Spain and Juventus star Alvaro Morata has decided he wants to move to Chelsea or Manchester United.
The forward is set to become the subject of a bidding war this summer, but according to AS, Arsenal may as well give up on his signature as he has his heart set on the other two.
What’s most concerning is that if Jamie Vardy also turns down Arsene Wenger’s advances, the Gunners could find themselves without a striker again at the end of the transfer window.
Even if they do sign someone, Arsenal fans must be questioning how the club’s prowess has diminished if top strikers apparently have no interest in joining them.
The good news is that Morata is going to cost a fortune, so at least Wenger won’t have to part with his much-cherished and protected wallet.
Morata is currently with Juventus, but Real Madrid are set to activate their buy-back clause and then sell him on for a huge profit.
Chelsea seem the most likely destination, as United are more likely to sing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and would have no place for Morata if that deal goes through.
