Former Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony will be welcomed back at the Liberty stadium with open arms according to current star the club.
The Ivorian was secured for £25m by Man City last season but has failed to nail down a starting berth in the highly competitive side since his move.
Reports in Manchester have linked him back to Swansea as he is deemed surplus to requirements at the Ettihad stadium under Pep Guardiola next term.
Ghana international, Andre Ayew has called on him to make a decision to return to Swansea if he wants to end his time with the Citizens.
“I spoke to Wilf at the end but I didn’t tell him to come back but we all know he had two great seasons here and scored a lot of goals for the club.
“He went to a very big club and I do think he still wants to succeed there and hopefully, for him, he gets that opportunity – but if he wants to come back we will take him with open arms.”
