JORDAN LUKAKU, younger brother of Everton striker Romelu, has also emerged as a potential target for Arsenal.
The 21-year-old left-back, who currently plays for Oostende in the Belgian Pro League, believes his style of play would suit the Premier League – and has admitted to being a Gunners fan.
Lukaku told The Set Pieces: “Do I see myself as Premier League-bound?
“I don’t know, but it’s a league that would suit me. I have always been a fan of Arsenal, but I am mad about every Premier League club as long as the club doesn’t have to fight against relegation.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly considering making a bid for Marseille forward Michy Batshuayi after Danny Welbeck was ruled out for nine months following knee surgery.
The Gunners have been watching the Belgian closely this season and enquired about him in January before he signed a new contract with the French club.
The 22-year-old has scored 21 goals in 48 appearances for a Marseille side that struggled and ended up finishing 13th in the table.
Batshuayi, who is rated around the £30m mark, is also wanted by Tottenham and West Ham.
Welbeck’s injury – coming just a few months after he was sidelined for almost a year with an injury to his other knee – has increased Arsenal’s need to add to their already limited attack, although Juventus striker Alvaro Morata remains their top priority.
