Former Manchester City forward Stefan Jovetic has made a call to his current club Inter Milan to sign former teammates Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta.
The striker who signed from Fiorentina to Man City in 2013 was unable to make a real impact in the English top flight as he spent much of his time at the Ettihad stadium, playing second fiddle to Sergio Aguero.
However, having crossed back to the Serie A, this time with Fiorentina, the striker believes his current club will benefit should they sign Ivorian Toure and Argentinian Zabaleta from City.
The Montenegrin forward told Corriere dello Sport: “Toure and Zabaleta are among the strongest in the world and would be useful to any team, even Inter.
“This year [Zabaleta] has had many muscle problems but when I was at City he was always well and played great.”
Inter failed to mount a proper challenge against Juventus, who won their fifth consecutive titles in the Italy first division, finishing fourth this season.
