The answer to Arsenal’s striking problems?

ARSENAL are pushing to sign two star Spaniards – Real Madrid playmaker Isco and Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.

The pair are top of Arsene Wenger’s transfer list, but both will be hard to secure.

Juve director Beppe Marotta is determined to keep Morata, having only just signed him from Real Madrid for £15.8 million last summer.

But the forward’s impressive form for the Series A leaders – he’s bagged 14 league goals in his debut season – has tempted Real Madrid bosses to trigger his reported £22m buy-back clause.

According to the Daily Express, Juventus are keen to keep the 23-year-old and are willing to pay Madrid another £16m to waiver the clause.

The Italians are also set to challenge Arsenal over their other target, Isco, who is set to quit Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Both players are sure to have a number of other suitors come the end of the season so Arsenal will need to act quickly and be prepared to outlay a significant sum to secure their targets.

Of the two, Morata would probably be the priority – certainly as far as Gunners fans are concerned – with the north London club desperately in need of a proven goalscorer.

Wenger, meanwhile, has stepped up his interest in Ajax’s teen sensation Riechedly Bazoer.

The19-year-old midfielder is one of the most sought-after prospects in Europe, with Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham also in the hunt for the youngster who has already been capped by Holland.

Gunners fans, would you like to see Morata at the Emirates?
