Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has piled more pressure on Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino ahead of their encounter this weekend.
Tottenham seek maximum points in order to close the gap on leaders Leicester City who have a game against Southampton at the Saint Mary’s.
The situation mounts more pressure on Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino who travel to Anfield – a ground they have won just four times out of their last 69 games.
“Maybe for Tottenham it is like a final, they have to win it to put pressure on Leicester,” said Klopp.
“Usually it is not important for us to think about the situation of the other team but in this special case I think it makes sense to know about it. When Tottenham play against Liverpool it is usually not a birthday party, it is a hard fight.
“The next day Leicester play Southampton – we know what can happen against Southampton. Arsenal should not stop dreaming as they have a few points to get and everything is possible.
“We are not involved so I am not that interested, but we are involved tomorrow and that is important.”
