Manchester United’s results have improved of late but it’s difficult to imagine them not augmenting their forward line over the next two windows and they have again been linked with Belgian hitman Romelu Lukaku in the latest news cycle. But the reported price could be prohibitive.
British media outlet, The Sun reports:
MANCHESTER UNITED will have to stump up £65m to snare Everton star Romelu Lukaku.
The Red Devil’s have been monitoring Lukaku’s goals, and more importantly all-round performances, this season.
The 22-year-old already has a remarkable 42 caps for Belgium and has a goal return of 11 in that period.
And his international form has been mirrored by his club performances.
Thos who mattered at Chelsea never seemed that keen on him and he was loaned to West Brom and Everton before a permanent move to The Toffees for £28m in 2014.
Since he has been at Goodison he has left Chelsea red-faced by becoming one of the most prolific strikers in the English Premier League with 55 of the beauties in just 105 games in all competitions and 12 goals in his last 14 games.
It’s some career for one so young and you imagine that he will get better before he gets worse.
