Juventus star Paul Pogba has given an interesting insight into the regimes of relative clubs by suggesting that his time at Manchester United was far easier than his career at Juventus.
In what has been viewed as a notorious mistake by Manchester United, they let the France international leave Old Trafford for peanuts in 2012 because he wanted first team action. Within a few years Pogba was driving Juventus to The Champions League Final while Manchester United’s creative midfield continues to look pretty bare.
But he has stated that life at Manchester United was, in fact, easier.
“People need to know that nothing at Juve is easy,” Pogba said. “There is a different culture of work compared to elsewhere. I was at Manchester: it seemed like being on holiday.
The France kingpin looks as if he will make another big move in his career – he is still only 22 and how Manchester United could use his dynamism and guile in the middle of the park.
But there is a sense that there would be too much humble pie eating should Manchester United pay the potentially astronomical asking price after letting him go for so little.
We sense that a mega move to Spain is on the cards for the inordinately talented young man.
