Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seemed in very optimistic mood when asked about his Janaury transfer plans last week and the latest news reports suggest that he may spend big in this window, in order to keep his title aspirations on track.
Midfielders and attackers may well be on the menu in this window and Arsenal have been linked with a massive bid for a genuine game changer. The Sun reports:

So is he good enough to make a difference? The answer has to be a resounding ‘yes’.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has been on fire this season with 27 goals in 27 games for his club. He isn’t even a conventional number 9. Instead he can play on the wing or through the middle.
He’s pacy but also has great finesse for one so quick. The Gabon intentional is also ice cold in front of goal and could play instead of Giroud or on the right of the front 3. He would even be an excellent number 10. His adaptability means that Arsenal could experiment with their front line and also rotate to keep them fresh.
We think that Arsenals should pull out all of the stops to get this guy.
