As if Manchester City didn’t already have enough attacking talent they now have top players pining to join them.
That’s according to The Daily Mirror which reports that Real Madrid’s brilliant Spanish international, Isco, is keen to come to Manchester City after losing patience with a lack of playing time at the Spanish giant:
Real Madrid superstar Isco is hoping to pave the way for a move to Manchester City.
Isco, 23, and his representatives are due to have showdown talks with Real Madrid next Tuesday after being left frustrated at the Bernabeu.
The Spain playmaker is open to a move to the Etihad and his representatives have sounded out City about a potential loan switch with a permanent £25million move to follow in the summer.
We have always maintained that Manchester City will find it very hard to get this deal over the line.
Isco is a 23 year old Spanish international and, although he isn’t starter every week right now, Real Madrid surely see Isco as the perfect profile of player for their squad.
He’s young, powerful and has fantastic talent. And he would get into most teams in world football. It just so happens that Ronaldo, Benzema, Rodriguez and Bale are fighting for the same places in the team.
The decision will eventually rest with Isco himself and Manchester City could certainly improve their own squad with such a signing. But, as Pedro has found out with his move to Chelsea, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
Let’s see Isco in action.
Manchester City fans: a doable deal?
