Perfect signings

It would take a very bold man to try to save Manchester United’s season by investing in youngsters.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal may decide that he wants to bring in experience at this troubled time.

But when you assess the market it’s difficult to see two better players than the ones who are currently being linked with a move to a Manchester giant.

Van Gaal is famous for developing youngsters and he must like the look of these two, who would offer extra points of attack to Manchester United. If we held the purse strings, we wouldn’t think twice about bringing these two in.

Felipe Anderson

In the same way as Mourinho to Manchester United is a no-brainer, so is the signing of Felipe Anderson.

He has many of the same qualities as fellow Serie A star Paul Pogba – he can ignite games from the midfield but he has even more pace than the Frenchman and a greater scoring record.

At 22 he is about to become a household name and Manchester United have been persistently linked. If United wait much longer he will surely be snapped up by a Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Leroy Sane

Strongly linked with a move to Manchester City over the last few days, but Sane has also been rumoured to be interesting Manchester United and they would be mad to let the guy slip through their fingers.

Reports suggest that Manchester United have also shown interest and that the player would be available for around £32m. So what are they waiting for?

Sane is a wonderful winger who can beat a man, score a goal and generally wow with his technique. He is going to be a world star and Louis should ask Sane’s German international teammate, Bastian Schweinsteiger, to have a word in Sane’s ear as soon as possible.

Let’s see the talented German in action.

There re so many different formations played today but I wonder what would happen if we reverted back to having players who were specialists in the old fashioned positions. Right and left backs who were defenders not over lapping wingers, Centre half with a right and left half who defended and linked play. A left and right winger, two inside forwards and a centre forward. 5 in attack, still leaving 5 at the back to prevent break aways and a goalkeeper to get past if they get that far. The best form of defence is attack. I wonder…….
