Arsenal could be about to do a very exciting deal for a young La Liga talent, according to reports in Spain.
Sport.es reports that both Arsenal and their North London rivals Spurs are in contact with Barcelona directors about a duo of young talents who may be leaving the club this January. While Spurs want Sandro Ramirez, Arsenal are in for a defensive midfielder, Sergi Samper. Sport says:

The report states that Arsenal are prepared to pay 6m Euros for the player and if they can snare him for that it has to be seen as an absolute bargain or a player with great technique and vision.
The 20 year old defensive midfielder has played at every youth level for Spain but hasn’t been able to force his way into the reckoning for Barcelona and they may be prepared to let him go this January, according to the report.
At 6m this is a risk worth taking as some Arsenal fans have been crying out for another defensive midfielder, especially since Francis Coquelin got injured.
