One of the first questions on our lips when Jurgen Klopp took over at Liverpool was ‘who can he bring with him?’
The brilliant man-manager is bound to have made more friends than enemies at Dortmund, who have a bevy of top stars including Mats Hummels, Ilkay Gundogan and the marvellous Marco Reus.
But, perhaps the best ex-Dortmund star of the lot has been linked by The Sun today, who say:
Robert Lewandowski tops Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s transfer wishlist.

Lewandowksi has a realistic claim to being the best number 9 in Europe right now.
He’s battering ram with the same sort of presence as Edin Dzeko.
But he has so much more too his game than the Bosnian.
His movement, finishing and link up play single him out as a player at the very top of his game.
And, at 27, we feel that he would be perfect for The Premier League and Liverpool.
And his stats are amazing. 32 in 72 for Poland. 225 in 399 club games and 19 in 18 so far for Bayern Munchen this season.
The obvious next question is how Liverpool might go about tempting a player from one of the top 3 clubs in Europe to move to a club which isn’t currently even competing in The Champions League.
But if Klopp can pull it off then surely Liverpool would be guaranteed a place in the top 4.
Let’s see Lewandowski in action.
