Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be among a number of big European clubs monitoring the trajectory of a young striker from Denmark. The Guardian reports:

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among clubs monitoring the progress of the Denmark Under-19s striker Emre Mor who is expected to leave Nordsjaelland in January.

Ajax and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest and the player will reportedly move in January for a small fee as he only signed a part-time contract with his current club.

He will be keenly followed this week by scouts as he takes his place in the Denmark U19 team which takes on Iceland tomorrow, then Malta and Israel in quick succession.

Mor has already scored a couple of international goals for the youth teams in just two games and he may well be seen as a smart long-term investment for Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Chelsea look as if they could do with more depth in attack with Deigo Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao largely failing to deliver this term.

Liverpool have strength in depth up top but Danny Ings and Raheem Sterling have struggled with injury, Divock Origi still looks raw and Benteke is taking time to settle in to his new surroundings.

And, with so little goalscoring prowess at Manchester United right now, you would expect them to shell out on some attacking reinforcements in the winter.

So this could be an interesting transfer tussle. Let’s take a look at the youngster in action.
