Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was in assertive form ahead of the game against West Brom and was clearly expecting questions about Manchester United’s style of play, which has recently come in for criticism.
He said that the current vocal chagrin of the Manchester United supporters inside Old Trafford wasn’t helping the form of the team:
“Supporters have to support otherwise they make it more difficult for the players,” said Van Gaal. “It’s very difficult to play for Manchester United with a lot of pressure and you can taste that in Old Trafford because of all the yelling, so it’s better to whistle the manager, I can cope with it.”
In terms of injuries it’s looking pretty rosy for Manchester United right now, although the right back slot is a little problematic.
Antonio Valencia remains sidelined while Matteo Darmian is suspended for one game after picking up 5 yellow cards so far this season.

Our other big hope is that LvG starts with Manchester United’s young sparks in attack.
That means a first start in tandem for Jesse Lingard, Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial, all supported by Wayne Rooney from the number 10 role.
So here is our Manchester United XI for the last game before the international snoozefest.
